Drew McIntyre: If You’re A CM Punk Fan, You’re Stupid

Drew McIntyre had some harsh words for CM Punk fans on the May 13 episode of WWE RAW.

Drew McIntyre and CM Punk have been feuding for months, as McIntyre previously said he prayed for the injury that derailed Punk’s road to WrestleMania. Punk then attacked McIntyre at WrestleMania 40 and cost him the World Heavyweight Championship. McIntyre and Punk have gone back and forth in promos and social media since then. They narrowly missed each other on the May 6 episode of WWE RAW, when Punk vowed to smash McIntyre’s face.

Drew McIntyre kicked off the May 13 episode of WWE RAW and responded to “CM Punk” chants by saying that Punk only showed up to big cities. He said that Punk’s greatest trick was convincing everyone to trust him time and again, even though he kept breaking it.

McIntyre said it was like an abusive relationship, and he did not understand it. McIntyre stated that he did not like to talk to people like they’re stupid, but he said that if you’re a CM Punk fan, you’re stupid.

He then said that he would get his hands on Punk eventually, and he would torture him. McIntyre proceeded to call out World Heavyweight Champion Damian Priest. Priest agreed to give him a title shot once he was cleared to compete.

Drew McIntyre then reiterated his message in a tweet.

You buy all the crap he spews.
You trust him when all he’s done is betray your trust.
I don’t like to call people stupid.

CM Punk continues to recover from a torn triceps. As of this writing, it is not known when he will return to the ring. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
