Unquestionably, 2025 has been one of the strongest years of Seth Rollins’ WWE career. He achieved some pivotal success in 2025 by featuring in the main events of WrestleMania 41 and SummerSlam Nights One. Rollins also won the World Heavyweight Championship for the second time and became the leader of the Vision.

Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed were his lapdogs, and the Oracle, Paul Heyman, became his manager, which was an unlikely alliance considering their history.

The 5 Best WWE PLE Matches Of 2025

Rollins featured in several high-profile matches in 2025, and a plethora of the matches were bangers. The six-time WWE World Champion was rightfully featured prominently and showed why he is one of the all-time greats. Furthermore, Rollins was once again featured heavily in the main event scene, as he has been over the past few years.

Unfortunately, Rollins got injured in his final match of the year at Crown Jewel, forcing him to relinquish the World Heavyweight Championship.

8. Seth Rollins Vs. CM Punk – SummerSlam Saturday

For the moment itself, it would rank number one on this list as it was brilliant. CM Punk defeated Gunther for the World Heavyweight Championship in the main event of SummerSlam – Saturday Night. However, Seth Rollins appeared with Paul Heyman in tow. Rollins, on crutches, taunted the new World Heavyweight Champion.

The Visionary proceeded to head backstage, but he had other ideas. Poetically, he dropped the crutches and grabbed the Money in the Bank briefcase from Heyman.

The crowd popped, and Rollins ran down the aisle. Punk just wrestled an epic for half an hour with Rollins taking advantage like a Piranha. Nevertheless, Rollins repeatedly attacked his bitter rival with the Money in the Bank briefcase. Rollins pulled off the “Ruse of the Century” to become a two-time World Heavyweight Champion, causing Punk’s title reign to last a little over five minutes.

7. Seth Rollins & Becky Lynch Vs. CM Punk & AJ Lee – Wrestlepalooza

Seth Rollins and his wife, Becky Lynch, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion, had a grand entrance fit for a King and Queen at Wrestlepalooza. The pair wore matching outfits, and they squared off with CM Punk and AJ Lee in a mixed tag team match.

Something had to give as both respective married couples were unbeaten in their tandems. There was some good action, but 30 minutes was longer than necessary in Lee’s first match in a decade. However, Rollins and Lynch played their roles as heels to perfection.

Punk attempted several times to tag in Lee, but Rollins and Lynch prevented it. Nevertheless, the crowd went crazy when Lee finally tagged into the match. Moreover, Punk and Lee attempted to put Rollins and Lynch through the broadcast table with Punk and Lee’s respective finishers, but to no avail.

The Straight Edge Savior hoisted Rollins on his shoulders, but Lynch came to her husband’s rescue. She pushed Lee into Punk, with Lee, Punk, and Rollins crashing through the table. The reigning Women’s Intercontinental Champion attempted the Manhandle Slam, but Lee countered it into the Black Widow, marking her return to the ring with a win.

6. Men’s Royal Rumble Match – Royal Rumble

The 2019 Men’s Royal Rumble match winner, Seth Rollins, entered the 2025 iteration of the men’s Royal Rumble match as the 25th entrant. Rollins joined the fray after John Cena and CM Punk, who entered 23rd and 24th, respectively. Rollins didn’t register any eliminations in the 2025 men’s Royal Rumble match. Nevertheless, The Revolutionary spent time fighting CM Punk during the Rumble.

Rollins executed the Pedigree on Jey Uso, and Cena attempted the AA on Rollins, but he blocked it, and Reigns nailed Cena with a Superman Punch. Rollins followed it up with a couple of Stomps to Cena and Punk. There was a stand-off between Rollins and Reigns, with the pair going toe-to-toe. Both men were unable to connect with their respective signature moves on each other.

The Tribal Chief almost eliminated Rollins, but CM Punk eliminated both men. Punk and Reigns were arguing on the outside, and Rollins nailed Reigns with the Stomp on the floor, and Punk and Rollins continued to brawl on the outside. He followed it up with a Stomp to Reigns onto the steel steps, planting the seeds for their triple threat match at WrestleMania 41.

5. Men’s Elimination Chamber Match – Elimination Chamber

Seth Rollins has achieved a lot in his legendary WWE career. In fact, he’s never won an Elimination Chamber match. The Men’s Elimination Chamber match was star-studded with five former world champions in Rollins, CM Punk, John Cena, Drew McIntyre, and Damian Priest. The only non-former World Champion present was former WWE United States Champion, Logan Paul.

Rollins and McIntyre got things underway in an excellent match. Rollins’s obsession with CM Punk knows no bounds. The Visionary, Punk, and Cena were the final three competitors. However, Rollins’ efforts to eliminate Punk failed to materialize. He executed the Pedigree and Stomp, and Punk kicked out both times.

The former multiple-time World champion was on the receiving end of a GTS and AA with Punk eliminating Rollins. However, Rollins had the last laugh as he executed the Stomp on Punk, and Cena rushed to apply the STF, securing the win with Rollins barking at Punk.

4. Men’s Money In The Bank Ladder Match – Money In The Bank

Seeking to become the second man to win multiple Money in the Bank ladder matches, Seth Rollins was the odds-on favorite to win the 2025 Men’s Money in the Bank ladder match. However, Solo Sikoa, Andrade, Penta, LA Knight, and El Grande Americano had other ideas. There was a stand-off between Rollins and Sikoa, and Rollins countered the Samoan Spike.

Chants of CM Punk reverberated around the arena, as did chants of “This is Awesome.” Rollins and Heyman barked for Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed to interfere. Breakker cleaned out the house by spearing El Grande Americano and LA Knight on the outside. Reed crushed Andrade with his Tsunami.

Nevertheless, Sikoa looked poised to win the men’s Money in the Bank ladder match, but his cousin Jacob Fatu stopped him in his tracks. Fatu shouted, “I Hate You!” and the coast was clear for Rollins to win his first men’s Money in the Bank ladder match in 11 years.

3. Seth Rollins Vs. CM Punk Vs. Jey Uso Vs. LA Knight – Clash In Paris

Clash in Paris was Seth Rollins’ first World Heavyweight Championship title defense since he pulled off the Ruse of the Century at SummerSlam. LA Knight, alongside former champions CM Punk and Jey Uso, sought to dethrone The Vision’s World Heavyweight Champion. Fatal 4-way matches can be clunky, and at times, this Fatal 4-Way match was chaotic. However, the bout was solid with all four brawling in the crowd at one point.

Rollins avoided being put through the broadcast table thanks to Jey Uso’s intervention, which gave him more time to move as Knight was put off. In the closing stages, Punk geared up for a couple of Go To Sleep, but a masked person low-blowed Punk. It was unveiled to be Rollins’ wife, the Women’s Intercontinental Champion Becky Lynch. The Man taunted Punk, and Rollins sealed the deal with a Stomp to retain the World Heavyweight Championship.

2. Seth Rollins Vs. Cody Rhodes – Crown Jewel

For the fourth time, Seth Rollins and Cody Rhodes squared off at Crown Jewel. This was arguably their biggest match. Seth Rollins, the World Heavyweight Champion, and Cody, the reigning Undisputed WWE Champion, slugged it out for the Men’s Crown Jewel Championship. The Visionary was desperate as Cody registered a clean sweep in their trilogy in 2022. Once again, Seth and Cody created magic in a superb wrestling match.

Unfortunately, Seth tried something new, and it didn’t pay off as Seth sustained a legitimate shoulder injury. He executed a Coast-to-Coast, favoring his shoulder throughout. Nevertheless, winning is the perfect painkiller, and Seth finally defeated Cody with a Stomp from the top rope.

1. Seth Rollins Vs. CM Punk Vs. Roman Reigns – WrestleMania 41 Saturday

WWE saved the best for last on a mediocre WrestleMania 41 Saturday card. One of the biggest triple threat matches in WWE history happened in the main event of WrestleMania 41 – Saturday Night, with former World Champions Seth Rollins, CM Punk, and Roman Reigns all looking to claim bragging rights. Rollins competed in his second consecutive WrestleMania Saturday main event, and he had a lot of offense in this hard-hitting contest.

The action spilled into the crowd, and weapons were involved. All three hit their respective finishers and several kickouts. Fans were mesmerized by what they were witnessing. However, Heyman betrayed CM Punk, momentarily reuniting with Reigns. This was a ruse as the WWE Hall of Famer betrayed Reigns for Rollins.

Rollins executed the Stomp on Reigns after he attacked him with a steel chair to prevail, and he turned heel in one of the best wrestling matches of the year.
