The Hardys became TNA World Tag Team Champions for the fourth time at TNA Slammiversary 2025, after overcoming three other teams in a match they have made famous, a Ladder Match. The Hardys are now equalling LAX and one reign away from the two record teams, with five reigns each, Beer Money and The Wolves.

The Nemeths were defending against The Rascalz, The Hardys, and First Class. Myron Reed was in for an injured Trey Miguel (he was unable to compete and will undergo hernia surgery soon). Reed hit Ryan Nemeth with the Flame On cutter to the outside. Wentz sent Navarro crashing through a ladder.

AJ Francis was climbing a ladder, but Matt Hardy hit him in the back with a steel chair. Jeff Hardy soared with a Swanton Bomb to Francis. Ryan gets into an altercation with baseball player Johnny Damon at ringside. Francis hit the world’s largest Moonsault from a ladder.

Moments later, both members of FIR$T CLA$$ were pushed off of ladders through two more at ringside. The Rascalz were laid out on ladders, and Jeff hit them with a pair of Swanton Bombs. A production ladder hanging from above the ring comes into play. Matt stabilized it while Jeff climbed up to retrieve the titles.

Bully Ray then returned to TNA Wrestling to set up a final battle with his longtime rivals The Hardys at Bound For Glory in October.

Last Thursday, on TNA iMPACT, the Hardys were contemplating retirement if they didn’t win at Slammiversary. Over the last three decades, the Hardys have won 24 Tag Team Championship belts in many companies. At 47 and 50, Jeff and Matt still seem to have a lot to say in the iMPACT Zone or any other ring.
