Fans Think The Rock is Set to Return After WWE RAW Angle
The Rock WWE Boss

The Rock has emerged as the most popular prediction among WWE fans to be involved in a major angle, which took place on WWE RAW on Monday night. The Final Boss hasn't been seen since the 2024 Elimination Chamber, when John Cena betrayed Cody Rhodes and turned heel.

The Hollywood megastar has been busy with his acting career, but recently suggested he's held talks about a possible appearance at WrestleMania 43 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, next year. He claimed that "good talks" had taken place with Saudi Arabian officials, but some fans believe he might be back on WWE TV even sooner than Mania in 2027.

WWE RAW Angle Creates Curiosity

A backstage segment between RAW general manager Adam Pearce and The Vision's 'Oracle' Paul Heyman was one of the biggest talking points from Monday night's episode. The pair spoke backstage about the ongoing issues between Pearce and Bron Breakker.

But Pearce received a phone call during their conversation, in which Heyman told him, "You just may wanna take that phone call." The GM answered, but looked irritated by the response.

This was alluded to in Logan Paul's latest YouTube vlog, in which Heyman told him that Pearce received a phone call from someone that "no one wants to hear from." Paul asked if it was Triple H, but the Hall of Famer said even the WWE chief content officer wouldn't want a call from this person.

The line that had fans throwing out various theories came from Paul, who replied, "Oh, it's got to be the big man himself." It's created a lot of intrigue as WWE builds towards the Royal Rumble, which starts the Road to WrestleMania 42.

Fans think that if it's somebody who is high up and holds as much power as Triple H, then the answer has to be The Rock. The legendary WWE star is a member of the TKO board, and there were hints of a power struggle between the pair on the Road to WrestleMania 40 two years ago.

Fans Reckon The Rock Returns - But He's Not Their Only Prediction

The Rock WWE Boss

WWE fans gave interesting responses to who might be "the big man" and many believe The Rock could be returning to help build towards Mania in April. One fan suggested he would align with The Visio,n and he does have a connection with Heyman from his previous run in the Bloodline saga:

"This coming out right after the Rock did the interview about Wm 43 yea the Vision group is finally getting something they’ve been missing… the final boss which would bring out a more brutal side of the Vision."

Another pointed out that Rock has been given the nickname before: "I don’t know if it means anything, but Pat McAfee always referred to the big man as the rock."

One fan reckons all signs point to the Final Boss: "Sounds like it could be an Authority figure and that could only really mean Rock. He dosen't need to appear on television though. They can just say Adam Pearce has been overridden by somebody more higher up than him."

Another threw out not just a Rock prediction but also the possibility of a shock Vince McMahon return: "Crossed Fingers its The Rock or The BOSS Vince. Please let it be one of those two."

WWE

The Rock does look increasingly likely to be appearing at Mania 43, but it remains to be seen whether he'll return a year before in an ongoing storyline. Other guesses include former WWE chairman Vince McMahon, Chris Jericho and even Nick Khan.

But perhaps the most obvious answer would be Brock Lesnar, who hasn't appeared since Survivor Series in November. He teamed with Paul in WarGames and is advertised for the Rumble in Saudi Arabia.
