The 2025 WWE Survivor Series: WarGames is around the corner, and WWE has announced it’ll once again be treating fans to thrilling WarGames matches. This week’s RAW confirmed these matches and also revealed several superstars who’ll be participating in them, but still, there are many slots empty. Let’s talk about the superstars who can fill these empty slots in the men’s bout.
CM Punk has been feuding with The Vision for quite some time, and last week on Monday, when he hit the ring to celebrate his World Heavyweight Championship, The Vision interrupted him once again. Logan Paul, who tricked us all for a moment into thinking he was turning into a good guy, ended the show by standing alongside The Vision.
This week, The Best in the World, in rage, called out the YouTuber and The Vision and was ready to take them all on alone, but was assisted by the Undisputed Champion Cody Rhodes and Jey Uso.
Soon, a chaotic brawl broke out, and later backstage, William Regal confirmed that we’ll be seeing a men’s WarGames match. The known babyface team members are Punk, Uso, and Rhodes, while the heel team comprises Paul and The Vision (Bronson Reed and Bron Breakker).
Each team has three members, but teams in WarGames usually feature five stars, and the names are expected to be revealed in the coming weeks. Here are the superstars who are being predicted to participate in the men’s WarGames match:
Thinking about the remaining slots for the babyface team, the first name that comes to mind is none other than The Tribal Chief, Roman Reigns. The O.T.C. and its Bloodline members have been a vital part of WarGames for the past few years.
Renowned wrestling journalist Dave Meltzer has also reported that Reigns could appear on next week’s RAW to announce his participation in Survivor Series. A rumor is also floating around that Reigns could offer his help to Punk against The Vision in return for a favor.
As we remember, Punk did the same last year and cashed in that favor at WrestleMania 41 by having Paul Heyman stand in his corner. The WWE creative team might have something huge for The O.T.C. and The Best in the World, and this favor angle could serve well to renew their storyline.
As for the fifth member, many names could fill that space, but if The Main Event Jey and The Tribal Chief are there, another core member of The Bloodline, Jimmy Uso, would make the most sense. Even during Jey’s singles run, Jimmy has been constantly showing up to support his brother. So, it shouldn’t be a big surprise if he hits the ring once again to help Jey and his friends against the bad guys.
Another name Meltzer reported who could shock the fans with his presence next week is The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar. There are no current storylines involving the former Universal Champion, but WWE is likely going to add him to the Survivor Series match card.
So, the best way to make him part of the upcoming big event would be to put him in WarGames. His participation would definitely make the event even bigger, and since he is currently playing the role of a bad guy, his obvious side seems to be the heel union of The Vision and Paul.
The fifth bad guy of the team could be one of the enemies of The American Nightmare. Last week’s Friday Night SmackDown saw the Undisputed Champion in a chaotic segment involving his bitter rivals, Drew McIntyre, after his match with Aleister Black was called off.
While Nick Aldis suspended McIntyre and is likely to be absent from the ring for some time, Black is still around to make things harder for the champion by joining his rival team at WarGames. This will also help in making their rivalry intense and setting a future match between them for the Undisputed Championship.
