WWE legend Hulk Hogan passed away on July 24th this year at his home in Clearwater, Florida. The state has had several Hogan-themed attractions throughout his time living there, including multiple restaurants, a memorabilia store, and the headquarters for Real American Beer.

Hogan's legacy will continue on in Clearwater, as today, Governor Ron DeSantis announced that part of the Clearwater trail will be renamed in Hogan's legacy, now being known as the "Hulk Hogan Trail".

It is a two-mile stretch of land located between Oak Avenue and Coronado Drive, marked by red and yellow signs celebrating Hogan, as well as workout equipment, including pull-up bars, that is free to use.

This announcement was made at Hogan's Hangout restaurant, with Hogan's wife, Sky, his son Nick, Nick's wife, and Jimmy Hart all present to celebrate.

"This is something that my dad would be so, so proud of. Because Clearwater was always home for him. No matter how far he traveled around the world or where his career took him, he always was grounded here. And he loved this community, he loved the people here."Nick Hogan

Nick further said,

"He loved to inspire people to be the best version of themselves. So this trail isn’t just a dedication. This is a living legacy."Nick Hogan

This isn't the only thing Florida has done to honor Hogan, as August 1st has also been recognized as Hulk Hogan Day.

Tributes For Hulk Hogan

When Hogan passed, dozens of wrestlers and fans started putting out tributes to him, including The Rock, The Undertaker, John Cena, Triple H, and countless others. The WWE would air several tributes to him across episodes of Raw, NXT, SmackDown, and SummerSlam.

Other promotions that Hogan had experience with such as TNA and New Japan Pro-Wrestling would also run tributes for him on their programming. All Elite Wrestling, despite never having Hogan connected to the promotion in any way, honored him on an episode of Collision, with former WCW commentator Tony Schiavone paying a tribute.

The tributes even extended past the world of professional wrestling as UFC President Dana White and actor Sylvester Stallone spoke about memories they have of Hogan.
