One ex-WWE star on the "Friday Night SmackDown" brand is making his way back to the ring.
It isn't rare to see wrestlers end their retirement after a short period of time away from the ring. Legends such as Shawn Michaels, Trish Stratus, Mick Foley, and Ric Flair have returned to the ring at least one more time. Many performers who thought twice about sticking to their retirement decision admitted that they missed the feeling of performing in front of a crowd, and they were given lucrative offers to return.
You can now add Kid Kash to the list of wrestlers who have come out of retirement. Kash announced that he is now taking match bookings after being out of action for eight years.
I retired in 2017 do to Mounting injuries and reoccurring fast injuries that at that point just needed to treated, healed, and rehabbed. Over the years I've had the replacement surgeries and rehabbed that my body desperately needed. I'm announcing that I am now accepting Bookings

Kash did have a few matches after 2017, but he still considered himself to be retired due to limited movement. The 55-year-old is hoping that the healing done to his body is enough to resume his career successfully. The last major televised show Kash was a part of was the March 7, 2020 episode of "TNA iMPACT."
The former "WWE SmackDown" superstar once held the WWE Cruiserweight Championship. He's also had experience working for ECW and TNA Wrestling. Kash once won the TNA X Division Championship and he is a former two-time NWA World Tag Team Champion.
If Kash can still perform well in the ring, he might garner interest from big promotions such as WWE, AEW, and TNA Wrestling for appearances. There's no word on when Kash's return match will be or what promotion it will be under.
