WWE has made efforts in the past to get Cardi B on their programming. The 32-year-old rapper is a noted wrestling fan, with some of her favorites including the likes of Dave Bautista, Eddie Guerrero, Booker T, and more. In one of her previous interviews with Peter Rosenberg, Ms. Dangerous said that she’d love to attend a WWE show down the road.

Well, she might even have to go a step further if she accepts Chelsea Green‘s challenge. The latter made history this past weekend at Saturday Night’s Main Event. Beating Michin, Green became the first-ever WWE Women’s US Champion. She could even be juxtaposed with the late, great Harley Race, who was the inaugural US champ on the men’s side of things.

But more importantly, Chelsea is already looking forward to an ambitious match with Cardi B. The SmackDown star took to X and said that she’s inviting the $80 million-worth rapper to challenge her. It’s not the first time the Cardi has received a similar offer.

In fact, quite recently, Liv Morgan told Billboard that she’d love to face Cardi B and Megan Thee Stallion in a tag team match with Raquel Rodriguez by her side. Likewise, if Green gets her wish, it’d undoubtedly be the biggest moment of her career from a buzz standpoint.

However, realistically, it only looks good on paper. The New York-born musician is expected to stop by next year’s SummerSlam. She’s featured in the teaser-trailer of the big 4 WWE PLE alongside Bianca Belair. The wrestling juggernaut tried getting her on board for SummerSlam in 2021. However, those plans fell through after the rapper announced pregnancy in June of that year.

Chelsea Green didn’t have it easy en route US title win over Michin

When WWE came up with a tournament to crown the inaugural women’s US champion, the fans had few dark horse picks from a star-studded field of women. And Michin was one of them.

She ran through her opponents in preliminary rounds to qualify for the finals, and so did Chelsea Green. It was one of those rare moments when the fans were torn on picking a side. Last month, the former Mia Yim embarrassed Chelsea when she dumped her into a giant trash container.

The Hot Mess was shunned by the entire locker room owing to her stinkiness. However, the Canuck avenged that ignominy by shattering Michin’s dream last Saturday. In a post-show interview, the 35-year-old affirmed that she’d not stop until she gets her lick back on Green.
