Hurt Syndicate, Rated FTR live appearances added to AEW Dynamite

New AEW Tag Team Champions The Hurt Syndicate as well as Rated FTR will be live on tonight’s AEW Dynamite, announced this afternoon. Bobby Lashley & Shelton Benjamin ran through Private Party on the January 22nd Maximum Carnage edition of Dynamite to take home the titles, continuing a dominant run for the MVP-led trio that began last fall. It’s the first time Lashley has ever held a tag title and is his first title reign of any kind since 2022. Benjamin’s last title run was as WWE Raw Tag Team Champion in 2021. Their next challengers and next direction are unclear given the way Lashley and Benjamin dispatched Quen and Zay whose reign lasted 84 days with just two successful title defenses. Cope and FTR will appear after Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler successfully defeated Jon Moxley & Wheeler Yuta in a street fight on Saturday’s Collision — the same show where Cope challenged Moxley to an AEW World title match at March’s Revolution.
