On Monday night, the identity of the masked man who has been helping The Vision was revealed. During the main event between Rey Mysterio and Logan Paul, the hit-and-run artist showed up again, this time retreating into the crowd and finally pulling off his mask.

THE MASKED MAN IS AUSTIN THEORY 😱 pic.twitter.com/0yvGrKVJEN— WWE (@WWE) December 16, 2025
The mystery man first appeared at Survivor Series, helping Bron Breakker beat CM Punk inside the WarGames cage. He returned on Raw the following Monday to help Logan Paul in his budding rivalry with Rey Mysterio. It was clear the man was helping The Vision, but theories about who was under the mask ranged from Montez Ford to Austin Theory.
It was, in fact, Austin Theory.
The main event match featured Paul vs Mysterio when Paul Heyman slid Logan brass knuckles, but a missed punch allowed Mysterio to hit a dropkick and 619 before grabbing the knuckles himself. Before he could capitalize, a masked man curb-stomped Mysterio, and Logan Paul followed with a frog splash for the win.
CM Punk came down to the ring with a chair to help Rey, as the masked assailant fled into the audience. Once he got to a safe distance on the steps, he paused, pulling off his mask to reveal Austin Theory underneath.
Punk stood on the corner ropes watching, unaware that Bron Breakker was waiting to hit him with a spear. Punk was laid out as Breakker held the title over the World Champion.
It was not made clear if Theory was technically a part of the group. While no one in The Vision seemed surprised by the reveal, the show went off the air before anyone could confirm his official capacity with the group. It is unlikely to be revealed until next week.
Theory has been off of WWE programming for some time, last seen as a tag team partner with Grayson Waller. Waller is now working with The New Day and speculation was that Theory would be a bigger part of a storyline upon his return. This certainly qualifies. Previously, a Paul Heyman guy when Heyman was the creative director of Raw, there's a history between these two. That hints this is no mistake, and Heyman may have handpicked Theory to work with his stable of stars, including Breakker and Bronson Reed.
