Injury Update On WWE's Shotzi

It’s been one week since Shotzi was injured while competing in her most recent match.

Injury

Last Tuesday at the NXT TV tapings from Orlando, Florida, Shotzi suffered a knee injury while wrestling Lyra Valkyria for the NXT Women's Championship. It happened when Shotzi was helped to the backstage area before WWE brought out Lash Legend to fill time for a match with Valkyria.

The injury also caused WWE to change plans as Shotzi was slated to work an Elimination Chamber Qualifying match against Tiffany Stratton on SmackDown.

Pwinsider reports the “word making the rounds at Monday Night Raw was that Shotzi was in Birmingham, Alabama ahead of a possible (likely) knee surgery.” WWE typically sends injured wrestlers to Birmingham to get surgery.
