Iyo Sky was able to walk into Wrestlemania 41 as the WWE Women’s World Champion and walked out of Wrestlemania 41 as the WWE Women’s World Champion after the triple threat match against Bianca Belair and Rhea Ripley to kick off the show. The match was an amazing way to start Night 2 of Wrestlemania 41 as the match was full of false finishes and exciting moves. Iyo Sky was able to breakup a pinfall with her Over the Moonsault and pinned Bianca Belair to retain her title. Let’s take a deeper dive into what this means for the RAW women’s division going forward.

Iyo Sky Retains WWE Women’s World Championship

The women’s triple threat match for the WWE Women’s World Championship was one of the most electrifying ways to open up Wrestlemania 41 that they could do and it certainly created a buzz around the show that the rest of the roster needed to follow. Bianca Belair won the 2025 Women’s Elimination Chamber match while Rhea Ripley signed the contract for the match, adding herself into the match.

The match had a lot of exciting spots throughout the match and had fans on the edge of their seats for the entire match with its unpredictability. In terms of what is next for these women, do not be surprised to see Rhea Ripley vs. Iyo Sky take place at Backlash in less than three weeks as a result of her not being pinned. This was also the first time that Bianca Belair lost at Wrestlemania (not counting battle royals).

In terms of Bianca Belair, there could be a shakeup and turning her heel and joining The Street Profits on Smackdown as a heel group would be exciting as the main roster has not seen Belair perform as a heel. With Sky holding onto the title, there is also a chance that a heel Bayley could emerge after Wrestlemania and go after the gold.
