What the WWE Universe thought was an intense but respectful rivalry turned into a heated blood feud in a matter of weeks. Jade Cargill would turn her back on Tiffany Stratton, giving the unsuspecting WWE Women’s Champion the beatdown of a lifetime that put her capabilities on the line to defend her own title. Jade Cargill was no longer asking; she’s taking, and on WWE Saturday Night’s Main Event (SNME) XLI, Cargill came in for the kill against Stratton.

These two have been through wars, with Jade coming out of it with the short end of the stick. Whether it was controversial calls or factors beyond her control, Cargill would walk away empty-handed every time, leaving her dejected and frustrated, which is why some may not be surprised that she had to resort to these tactics just to become WWE Women’s Champion.

Saturday night finally came, and these two women had a battle the WWE Universe won’t soon forget, and that’s for all the wrong reasons. This “match” was barely a match, with Tiffany Stratton sporting a nagging injury and Cargill having this newfound side. Once the bell rang, Cargill battered and destroyed Tiffany Stratton. The now former women’s champion tried to muster offense, but it was few and far between, clearly affected by her knee injury, which wasn’t helped by Jade Cargill targeting it all match, especially at the very beginning of the bout.

Cargill realized she wasn’t paid by the hour and wanted to come home with the gold ASAP, and that she did. Jade Cargill would hit the Eye of the Storm for a near-fall. When that didn’t work, she hit three consecutive Powerbombs, then, finally, Cargill hit Jaded to become the #AndNEW WWE Women’s Champion.

It has finally paid off, Jade Cargill is a household name, and more importantly, the WWE Women’s Champion.
