Jade Cargill’s attacker revealed on WWE SmackDown

After months of speculation, we now know who attacked Jade Cargill.

Bianca Belair called out Naomi on SmackDown, wanting to know if she was behind Cargill getting attacked late last year. Naomi came out but tried talking herself out of the situation, saying they should be focused on getting their tag team titles back. Belair said she wanted an answer. After Naomi tried avoiding the subject again, Belair asked her point blank if she was behind the attack, wanting a yes or no answer. Naomi eventually admitted that yes, she was the one that sent Cargill through a car windshield.

A tearful Belair didn’t want to hear any excuses from Naomi, who said she did it for Belair, and started to leave the ring. Right after Naomi called Belair an “ungrateful b****”, Jade Cargill got out of a car backstage and headed to the ring, continuing her attack on Naomi and eventually laid her out with Jaded.

Cargill, who had been out of action since November due to injury, made her return at Saturday’s Elimination Chamber. Instead of attacking Liv Morgan, who had been blamed for the attack, Cargill instead went after Naomi, who had to be pulled from starting the women’s Elimination Chamber as a result of Cargill’s attack.
