For weeks, Jaida Parker and Lash Legend have had problems with each other. Their run-ins led to a match on the September 2, 2025, episode of NXT, where Legend won. That looked like it was the end of their problems until No Mercy took place weeks later. Parker took on Sol Ruca for the WWE Women’s Speed Championship at the PLE. Legend interfered with the match, ensuring Ruca’s retention and Parker’s defeat.
After Legend came out, hyping up NXT Showdown next Tuesday, Parker came out to beat up on her. It was a nasty brawl that took many people to break up. The only question left to answer was where their rivalry would go from there.
After weeks of tension between them, they resolved their issues on the September 30, 2025, episode of NXT. The two women would have a rematch of their battle that took place four weeks ago. It was clear that it was going to be a heavy-hitting match. Both of them were looking to get the win over the other.
The match started, with Legend looking good early on. Tossing Parker around that early meant that it might be a short match. She threw herself through the ropes, but Parker caught her. That allowed her to get some momentum, dashing hopes of an early pinfall. She pinned Legend several times, but failed to keep her down.
The turning point of the match happened when Legend pushed her into the steel steps and into the barricade. Legend got her up on her shoulders, but Parker escaped her grasp. She countered the move, sending Legend into the ropes face-first.
That allowed her to hit Hypnotic, putting Legend back first onto the mat. The referee did his three-count successfully, allowing her to pick up the victory. Not only did Legend beat her weeks ago, but she also cost her the win at No Mercy. She should’ve been the WWE Women’s Speed Champion if it weren’t for her. The victory showed everyone that she didn’t forget anything that was done to her over the last couple of weeks.
Even though she lost, Legend deserves her flowers too. She took Parker to the limit, making her earn her victory. When two people who hate each other fight, it’s guaranteed to be a good match. They desperately want to get the win no matter what happens to their opponent. That can be said for the matchup between Parker and Legend. With one win each, a tiebreaker could happen sooner rather than later.
