Jakara Jackson has commented on her WWE release. Jackson was part of roster cuts the company made on May 2. In a video posted to her YouTube channel on Saturday, she asked to now be referred to as Miss Jackson. She also spoke about her WWE release, thanked her coaches, fans, and supporters, and confirmed she plans to continue her wrestling career. “I did want to start by saying I’m very, very grateful and appreciative for my time in WWE,” Jackson said. “I don’t want anybody to think that just because something like this did happen that I’m upset.” She added: “Do I wish that I could have shown the world what I can do on my own? Hell yes. And the way I see it, I’m still going to get that opportunity, just in a different way.” Jackson, who was a bodybuilder and fitness model before signing with WWE, appeared on NBC’s The Titan Games, hosted by The Rock, in 2020.
