The September 23 edition of WWE NXT saw the expulsion of Jazmyn Nyx from the faction Fatal Influence. The 27-year-old suffered an anonymous attack off-screen before being subsequently abandoned by NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne.

Nyx is a product of the WWE Performance Center, having signed with the sports entertainment company in 2022. She was part of the same class as other NXT talents such as Kehlani Jordan, Izzi Dame, and Adriana Rizzo.
Nyx was a professional soccer player for the Icelandic team UMF Afturelding prior to her pro wrestling adventure. She quickly aligned herself with Jane and Fallon Henley in July 2024 to form Fatal Influence.
Whilst Nyx has improved as a performer, she has not had the same success as her allies. Henley would win the Women’s North American Championship, whereas Jane would win both the NXT Women’s Championship and the TNA Knockouts Championship. The former was considered one of the most shocking title changes in WWE history.
The group has gained credibility over the past few months and has dominated the NXT women’s division. The trio most recently suffered a loss in the main event of NXT: Homecoming to main roster stars Lyra Valkyria, Stephanie Vaquer, and Rhea Ripley.
The segment may be a ruse, given that Jane has a vital title defense at NXT: No Mercy against Lola Vice on September 27. As of now, Nyx seems to be out of the group until further notice.
