It appears that Fatal Influence leader and NXT Women’s Champion Jacy Jayne has gotten her “wish." Her former stablemate, Jazmyn Nyx, is not only out of the group, but she’s leaving WWE.
Someone just dropped @Jazmyn_nyx_wwe backstage! 😱 pic.twitter.com/ktXEReEPdU— WWE (@WWE) September 24, 2025
As per F4WOnline, PWInsider Elite was the first to report her departure. WWE reportedly had offered her a new contract, but she turned it down. Once Nyx’s current contract is up, she will be leaving the company.
During this past Tuesday’s episode of NXT, Nyx was “attacked” by an unknown person backstage. She didn’t get any sympathy from her stablemates. Jayne said they should drop her from the stable and then added, “Only the strong survive.”
So that means Nyx’s last WWE match was on the NXT Homecoming TV special, where she, Jayne, and Fallon Henley lost to Rhea Ripley, Lyra Valkyria, and Charlotte Flair.
Jazmyn Nyx signed with WWE in 2022. Before that, she was a former professional soccer player who played for the Icelandic club UMF Afturelding.
One of her first matches that wasn’t a WWE NXT Live event was on the March 26, 2024, episode of NXT, where she lost to Thea Hail. Both she and Hail were part of Chase U. In June 2024, she was part of a WWE NXT Women’s Title #1 Contendership Battle Royal, which was won by Lash Legend.
Due to TNA’s partnership, Nyx wrestled at the 2025 TNA Emergence pay-per-view, where she and Henley took part in the TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Title Four Way Match. The other teams were the current champs, The Elegance Brand (Heather by Elegance and M By Elegance), The IInspiration (Cassie Lee and Jessie McKay), and Lei Ying Lee and Xia Brookside. The pay-per-view match was on August 15. Zyx and Henley would face the TNA Knockouts Tag Team Champions again on the August 19 episode of NXT. This time, Fatal Influence would win the match, though the titles weren’t on the line.
Earlier this month, she and Henley were also part of the WWE Women’s Tag Team Title #1 Contendership Triple Threat match. The winners were Izzi Dame and Tatum Paxley. The other team in the match was Sol Ruca and Zaria.
So she was mostly known for her tag team matches, especially with Henley. Nyx's exit is still shocking, considering how prominent Fatal Influence is on the developmental brand. It’ll be interesting to see what the 27-year-old does next. Will Nyx join another pro wrestling promotion or retire from the sport?
