Jey Uso Asks Fans for Personal Space and Respect

Jey shared, on Sunday, November 30, on his Instagram stories, a message to all fans when they see him out in public. The former WWE World Heavyweight Champion said:

“If U SEE ME in public shi, please don’t walk up and poke me or touch me. How many strangers poke yall a– in a day?? Bout 38 for me.”

It’s almost sad that Jey has to tell fans not to touch him. Though he’s not the only one to have sent out a message to fans to give them their space while in public. Former Women’s Champion Rhea Ripley had to tell fans not to swarm around wrestlers, especially at airports, demanding autographs, and not to send fan mail to their private addresses. She called out toxic women wrestling fans as well.

AJ Lee also recently dealt with a disturbing incident at a fan expo. A fan had created an AI video of her kissing him. She called him out and demanded he delete the video. What was worse, the fan refused to delete the AI-generated video, which led him to be banned from all Big Event NY Expo events.

Jey Uso In The Semi-Finals Of The Last Time Is Now Tournament

Obviously, not all WWE fans are like this, but the ones that need to be called out for their behavior, even if it makes the fandom look bad. Let’s move away from aggressive fan behavior and look at how close Jey is to facing John Cena on December 13 in Cena’s final WWE match. On this Monday’s (December 1) episode of WWE RAW, Jey will be facing LA Knight in the semi-finals. The other semi-final match is Gunther versus Solo Sikoa. To get this far, Jey had to defeat Rusev and The Miz.

The last time that Jey was in a match against Cena was when Cena was a heel and teamed with Logan Paul at Money in the Bank 2025. There, he and Cody Rhodes defeated Cena and Paul. They’ve never had a singles match against each other, so that could be interesting if Jey does make it to Saturday Night’s Main Event in Washington, D.C.
