As John Cena's retirement tour continued at WWE SummerSlam, the star lost the championship belt to Cody Rhodes. Cena's immediate reaction to the loss has wrestling fans buzzing before a surprise appearance by Brock Lesnar.
John Cena's rivalry with Cody Rhodes has had plenty of twists and turns as SummerSlam ended with the superstar losing the title belt. Yet, it is Cena's reaction to losing to Rhodes that is the talk of social media.
Despite losing to Rhodes, it was nothing but class from Cena who handed the belt to the new champion. At one point, Cena held up Rhodes' arm pointing to the wrestler as the new champion.

With Cena eventually heading into retirement, the star appeared to pass the torch to Rhodes as the new face of the WWE. After the title match, Rhodes emphasized that the embrace with Cena was "as real as you will eve get."
"With WWE doing 'WWE:Unreal' on Netflix, for example, there's so much of what we're seeing we've never seen before, but sometimes it's just really easy for me to tell you like it is," Rhodes said during the WWE post-match show on Sunday. "And I think you know this. I know you know this. I know you know this. I think we know this.

"A moment like that is as real as you will ever get in our industry. And before I can say, 'Hey, I did it. Hey, I worked so hard.' We have to give it up for the GOAT John Cena."
It did not take long for Cena's cordial moment with Rhodes to get overshadowed. Brock Lesnar surprisingly returned and attacked Cena after the title match.
