The second-ever Continental Classic came to an end at Saturday’s AEW Worlds End with Kazuchika Okada winning the entire tournament, retaining his Continental title in the final against Will Ospreay. The bout featured both men pulling out all the offensive stops in the final sequence, scoring close near falls on each other in rapid fire succession. The end came when Okada landed a Rainmaker clothesline to finally put Ospreay down for the win. In two semifinal matches that opened the show, Okada defeated Ricochet (the Gold league winner) while Ospreay outlasted his former friend in Kyle Fletcher (the Blue league winner). Ospreay was bloodied up during the Fletcher match and came out for the final with a full head bandage and didn’t wash off any of the blood. As expected, the bandage eventually came off and his head wound opened up in the Okada match. Okada will hold on to the Continental title he won this past March by defeating Eddie Kingston. Source
