Kenny Omega Becomes A Champion At AEW Revolution

Kenny Omega made his return to AEW at Worlds End last year.
Omega would capture the AEW International Championship at AEW Revolution 2025.
Omega has now held every possible title in AEW, besides the TNT title.

After being away from an AEW ring for seven months, Kenny Omega made a grand return at AEW Worlds End where he handed the AEW Continental Championship to Kazuchika Okada, before having a confrontation with the champ.

His first program after returning would be with the Don Callis Family, and specifically AEW International Champion, Konosuke Takeshita. The pair would get to face off at AEW Revolution 2025 with the International Championship on the line.

AEW Revolution 2025 would be the night that saw Konosuke Takeshita's near 150-day reign with the AEW International Championship come to an end at the hands of Kenny Omega. This win now sees Omega have a reign with every possible title in AEW, except the TNT Championship.

The two had the sort of match one would expect from two athletes that compete at their level, blowing many out of their seats in the Crypto.com Arena.

Previous AEW International Champions

The AEW International Championship has been the "workhorse" championship for AEW. With champions like Pac, Orange Cassidy , Will Ospreay, Konosuke Takeshita, and more, plus the many big feuds that have focused on the belt, Kenny Omega makes sense to continue the lineage of this championship.

Many fans believe after the moment the two had at Worlds End late last year, that Omega might face off against Kazuchika Okada sometime soon, likely at All In taking place in July this year. With both men being champions at the moment, it will be interesting to see if that match happens and how it comes to be.
