It was more than a week ago when WWE Hall of Famer Bret Hart revealed that WWE had promised him a seat at the 2025 SummerSlam PLE, but once he got there, there wasn’t a chair for him. Hart spoke about the incident during an interview at the Vaughan Comic Con, where he revealed that he felt disrespected and even brought another WWE Hall of Famer into the drama — Kevin Nash.
In the interview, Hart said that he noticed Kevin Nash got a seat at the MetLife Stadium PLE. Well, according to Nash, that’s a lie. On the latest episode of his podcast, Kliq This, Nash revealed that he didn’t have a seat on the show either and even clarified that to Hart through a phone call. He said:
“I saw where he [Bret Hart] was pissed because he went to SummerSlam and was told that they would have a seat for him, and there wasn’t, but I got a seat. Well, number one, I didn’t go to the show because I knew I didn’t have a seat. I guess my name got brought up, it would be, oh! Triple H’s buddy got a f**king seat. I called Bret [Hart]. I said, ‘I stopped going after they put me in a f**king box, and the monitor in the box didn’t work, and the ring was so f**king small and we were so far away that we had to watch, like, look up and watch the f**king tron, like, with no f**king announcing.” (H/T: Fightful)
So Hart wasn’t the only WWE legend to not attend because of no spot, though, from the sounds of it, Nash would rather not deal with attending a show due to past technical issues.
He later noted that he didn’t blame Hart for feeling underappreciated by the company. Nash revealed that he was inside the MetLife Stadium, not to watch the show, but to sign autographs for a few hours. He said:
“Jesus, man, it’s bad enough to f**king have to watch f**king wrestling without being able to f**king fast forward through sh*t, let alone no f**king announcing and volume and — f*ck. I don’t blame Bret… I had a signing inside the arena, inside MetLife [Stadium]. So I did a signing at 1:30 to 3 o’clock or something like that. So, I saw some of the people but, not many.”
As of this writing, Hart hasn’t responded to Nash or apologized for name-dropping him. This isn't the first time that Hart has complained about how he was "treated" by WWE. Though not every former WWE wrestler is as understanding as Nash, as noted, Big Vito told the Hitman that he needs to quit complaining and move on.
