The 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber qualifier that happened on WWE SmackDown featured two former world champions, in Nia Jax and Charlotte Flair, and a young, up-and-coming “representative” in the form of Kiana James battle it out in a Triple Threat match to punch their ticket to Chicago, and hopefully, come out of the Chamber as the number one contender for the WWE Women’s Championship.
In a match of the night candidate, these three women absolutely brought the house down. Jax would take control early in the match, with James and Flair momentarily pairing up to take her down. But eventually, chaos would ensue as all women fended for themselves.
The match would get intense as Flair would go on a roll, but was soon halted by Nia Jax with a Samoan Drop. In an absolute display of power, Kiana James would effortlessly hoist up Jax for a Samoan Drop of her own. Flair would interject again, even hitting a Double Moonsault on both competitors, as well as a Spanish Fly on James.
By the end of the match, we saw Flair lock in the Figure-Eight Leg Lock with a full extension on Jax. James, with her wit, would slide under the bridge of Flair, pinning her to score the upset and go on to Chicago to compete in the Chamber in quite the breakout performance.
Ladies and gentlemen, the field is almost set as we have the likes of Tiffany Stratton, Alexa Bliss, Asuka, Rhea Ripley, and now, Kiana James qualifying for one of the most intimidating, sadistic, and unforgiving structures in WWE history. While it’s not an ideal place to be competing in, with its history of shortening careers, for most of these competitors, it’s going to be well worth it if they come out on top as the last woman standing, guaranteeing their spot at WWE WrestleMania 42.
For Kiana James, this is actually the biggest win of her career as she advances to Chicago for the 2026 Women’s Elimination Chamber Match.
