Looks like another wrestler has vanished from AEW’s roster page faster than a hot dog at a baseball game. This time it’s Kiera Hogan, and honestly? Most fans probably didn’t even notice she was gone until someone pointed it out on Twitter. After four years of what can generously be called “existing” in All Elite Wrestling, Hogan’s profile disappeared from the company website this week.

The Writing Was on the Wall for Months

Let’s be brutally honest here, this departure was about as surprising as finding out water is wet. According to Sean Ross Sapp from Fightful Select, sources within AEW confirmed that Hogan had indeed left the company, with her contract reportedly expiring. The kicker? There apparently wasn’t any drama behind the exit, and she “hadn’t been backstage much, if at all in the last year.”

The 30-year-old wrestler hadn’t appeared on AEW television since February 2024, and her last Ring of Honor match was a quick victory over Ashley D’Amboise back in April. For a company that supposedly values its roster, that’s a pretty damning indictment of how little they thought of her contributions.

The Shoulder Injury That Nobody Talked About

Oh, and here’s the cherry on top of this frustrating sundae: Hogan apparently suffered a shoulder injury while filming “Joseline’s Cabaret” season six, which kept her out of action for an extended period. Because nothing says “professional wrestling career priorities” like getting hurt on a reality TV show.

The injury reportedly occurred while she was filming the show, and according to sources, she’s been actively training for her return to the ring. But here’s the million-dollar question: return to what, exactly? AEW clearly had zero plans for her moving forward, injury or no injury.

What’s Next for the “Hottest Flame”?

So where does Hogan go from here? Well, she’s reportedly planning to tour with “Joseline’s Cabaret” this fall, which seems to be where her immediate priorities lie. Those close to her claim she’ll continue pursuing wrestling opportunities, but let’s be realistic. At 30 years old with a recent injury history and four years of being completely misused by AEW, her options might be limited. The door could potentially be open for a return to Impact Wrestling, or she could make independent wrestling shows.

The Bottom Line

Kiera Hogan’s departure from AEW isn’t shocking because it was expected; it’s shocking because of how completely the company wasted four years of a talented performer’s prime. She came in with momentum from Impact Wrestling and leaves as an afterthought, having accomplished essentially nothing of note during her entire tenure.

For AEW, it’s just another day at the office. For Hogan, it’s hopefully a chance to find a company that will actually utilize her talents instead of letting them rot in developmental hell disguised as a major promotion.

Here’s hoping her next stop appreciates what they’re getting, because AEW clearly never figured it out.
