LA Knight wants Usher to perform his entrance at WrestleMania 40

Knight's "yeah" catchphrase is one of the most popular in WWE at the moment. The crowd chants it at the end of every sentence, after every punch and every time his entrance music comes on. 

Having Usher immortalize that catchphrase at the biggest WrestleMania to date would be the type of viral moment WWE is constantly searching for. 

Whether Usher would work with the fanbase so soon after his Super Bowl appearance would also be questionable as WWE likes to create moments, not rehash them from elsewhere. 

Nevertheless, bringing in one of the biggest artists in the world would show how much they value Knight. It would also prove that they see him as a star of the future. 

Knight's opponent for WrestleMania hasn't been confirmed yet. He has earned himself a spot in the Elimination Chamber, where the winner will face Seth Rollins for the World Heavyweight Championship. 

Knight's meteoric rise could make him a favorite to win the Premium Live Event, especially if creative believes he will help elevate the match in terms of viewers and social media interest.

WWE is enjoying a period of increased interest. Knight knows this. His comments about Usher were clearly in jest. That doesn't mean he wouldn't welcome the idea if it began to be taken seriously. 

WWE will likely spare no expense for WrestleMania 40. Whether Knight reaps any of those benefits will remain to be seen. For now, though, all eyes will be on Elimination Chamber.
