Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez have broken a record, becoming the first-ever women’s team to win the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championships three times. They did so on Monday night when they defeated Bianca Belair and Naomi in the main event of Monday Night Raw.

Their victory over Naomi and Belair followed an incredible main event that was filled with drama, high-energy action, and interference from Judgment Day’s Dominik Mysterio. There was back-and-forth action, close falls, and multiple saves with the crowd fully into the bout. Ultimately, it was Dom's distraction and Rodriguez bashing Naomi's head into the ring post when the official had his back turned that ultimately secured the pinfall victory and title change.
The match received widespread praise on social media for its intensity and unpredictability. It could have ended several times and the finish was close on a few occasions. Morgan and Rodriguez showcased incredible chemistry with the tag team champions. The only thing arguably missing was an appearance by Jade Cargill.
For Morgan, this is just another milestone in an incredible year. For Rodriguez, this victory was especially significant. After being sidelined in 2024 due to mast cell activation syndrome, her return to the ring and joining Judgment Day to win the championship solidified her as a key part of the women’s division.
The win comes just days before three of the four women are a huge part of the Elimination Chamber match. How this will affect the odds going into that match will be intriguing. It seems like a long shot now that Morgan would win the Chamber match, but Belair's odds will likely increase.
And, with no Cargill showing up, but rumors her return could be imminent, Morgan and Rodriguez’s road to WrestleMania gets interesting. They claimed not to have anything to do with her attack, and with Naomi having been pinned in the title match, does Cargill have an issue with how her titles were taken away and she wasn't involved in losing them?
