  • Travis Scott was added to a top WWE storyline but drew mostly negative, polarizing reactions from the WWE Universe.
  • He failed to adapt to wrestling's physical demands, missed planned appearances, and vanished without explanation.
  • Logan Paul says Scott likely balked at wrestling's pain and commitment, though Paul hopes Scott may return.

WWE brought in Travis Scott to be a huge crossover draw, inserted into one of the biggest storylines in WWE with The Rock, Cody Rhodes, and John Cena. The global music star was said to love the business, but every appearance was met with a polarizing reaction, mostly negative by the WWE Universe.

He wasn't well received, didn't learn the art of performing, and ultimately, Scott disappeared.

Travis Scott Didn't Pan Out In WWE

Despite not finishing the angle he was thrown into, Scott went away. WWE never addressed his leave or explained why the storyline never saw the closure it deserved, but the company appeared to distance itself. Even the WWE stars and other talents who were watching closely to see where everything was going didn't get an explanation when the entire creative team and Scott's involvement were simply left on the shelf to rot.

Logan Paul Reveals What He Believes Happened

And the day that it was supposed to be announced, he didn't show up. And I think what happened is, my guess is, he probably realized at some point that it's really physically demanding, really hard, and a lot of work. It's probably too much commitment for someone who is a rock star of his caliber. Like, Bad Bunny loves it, put in the time and, like, became a good wrestler. Wrestling is a lot about navigating pain. It all really hurts. And, some things hurt less, but it all hurts."

Paul went on to say that he believes a lot of people think the mat is bouncy and soft, and it isn't. "I certainly thought that before I got in WWE. And the first time I touched the canvas, I was like, When do they bring in the trampoline mat. Like no, but what about the prop chairs. Oh, there's no prop chairs. I'm not sayin this is real. It hurts, and at some point Travis probably realized it's pretty hard."

Paul said he would like to see Travis Scott eventually take a run at WWE. Still, "I think that's what happened," Paul said.
