Massive Spoiler on WWE’s Purpose Behind Its Series of Cryptic Vignettes on Social Media
Shocking Finish Report Shakes Up Cody Rhodes vs. Drew McIntyre at Wrestlepalooza 1 WrestleMania 42 (via WWE)

Beginning October 26, some minutes past 4 in the morning, WWE started sharing a string of teaser vignettes on its X account. The first five clips were nothing else than shots of people walking with different shoes every time they got posted. As expected, the chronically online wrestling fans started digging into them right off the bat.

While the first three videos were not so obvious about the identity of those figures, the fourth one included a man walking with pointed leather shoes and denim jeans. The fans were quick to single him out as Brock Lesnar. It has been The Beast’s typical attire for a long time now, since he started wearing that cowboy hat.

In the sixth clip, one could see the hands of a slightly aged man with his WWE Hall of Fame ring on his left index finger. It’s not hard to tell he’s Paul Heyman. The next teaser clip was shared by none other than WWE CCO Triple H.

In it, a man is shown pouring whiskey into four glasses. It made the fans reach a conclusion that the anonymous figure in the cinematic video could be Heyman setting four people up for a chat.

The online theory about it is that ‘The Wiseman’ has secured Brock Lesnar and Austin Theory to back up his Vision disciples, Bron Breakker and Bronson Reed, ahead of the highly anticipated WarGames match at Survivor Series. But WrestleVotes posted on Monday afternoon that all those teaser vignettes will lead to the reveal of the WrestleMania 42 promo.

PWInsider followed it up by reporting that top WWE names like Roman Reigns, Brock Lesnar, and Cody Rhodes were at the company’s headquarters over the last week to film material. It’s being said that the cryptic video teasers that WWE has been posting online are linked to next year’s WrestleMania in Las Vegas.

During this week’s Raw, a poker chip was shown with 2026 written over it. That basically confirmed WWE was going to dispense a detailed hype video for Mania ’26 inevitably. And this is certainly what they did with the official release of the hype package on social media.

A WWE personality has predicted early main events for WrestleMania 42

With next year’s WrestleMania still almost six months away, WWE analyst Sam Roberts has mapped out an exciting potential card for it. He took up a fan’s question concerning the same on his Notsam Wrestling podcast. According to Roberts, the men’s main events could feature Cody Rhodes battling Randy Orton , while Roman Reigns faces CM Punk.

He predicted that ‘The Best in the World’ will enter WrestleMania as the World Heavyweight Champion, setting the stage for a long-awaited singles clash with Reigns. It’s looking more likely now that Seth Rollins is out with a shoulder injury. Meanwhile, Roberts is expecting ‘The Viper’ to win the 2026 Royal Rumble in Saudi Arabia, securing his path to a marquee showdown with Rhodes.

There had been aplenty teasers of a down-the-road feud between these former Legacy stablemates. If the ex-AEW EVP ends up retaining his WWE title against Drew McIntyre at Saturday Night’s Main Event, the fans could definitely expect him to cross paths with Orton. On the women’s side, Roberts foresees Iyo Sky capturing the Royal Rumble glory in 2026 to earn a championship opportunity against Rhea Ripley.

He anticipates ‘The Eradicator’ ousting Stephanie Vaquer to reclaim the Women’s World Championship before WrestleMania season kicks in. The Raw Recap has also called for Jade Cargill to march into Mania as the other women’s champion to stand across from Bianca Belair.

While Roberts acknowledged that plans could evolve before the event, his predictions have already fueled fan speculation about some of these possible matchups turning into reality.
