With his current deal set to expire imminently, Matt Hardy has been offered a new contract by AEW. Hardy's AEW contract is slated to expire this month (March). On his Extreme Life of Matt Hardy podcast, Hardy revealed that he's been offered a new deal to remain with the promotion. Hardy said the contract offer is for "a few years." Hardy noted that he's looking through AEW's offer and still weighing his options. Whatever the 49-year-old Hardy decides to do, he wants to get the most out of the remaining years he has left in the ring. Hardy said that, within the next month, he should have an answer about his future: So, yeah, there is a little news to go along with my contract negotiations. I have an AEW contract sitting in front of me for a few years. And I’m looking through it - I’m like deciding what I want to do going forward. There’s obviously still some options. I got to make sure that I’m aware of the ins and outs of the contract, and I want to make sure everything is up to par as far as like what I wan
