The saga of Maxxine Dupri and Becky Lynch has been going on for weeks now. They have had countless backstage encounters, as well as two matches without definitive results. The non-title match ended in a countout, while the match for Lynch’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship ended with a disqualification. It was significantly anticipated by fans that the two would have a third match with a definitive victory at some point.
The November 10, 2025, episode of WWE Monday Night Raw gave fans an answer as to when the two women would collide once more. Raw General Manager Adam Pearce told Dupri that her next title opportunity would be coming on the following Monday’s Raw on November 17. How would Lynch respond to that news? It wouldn’t take Dupri long to find out.
To say Lynch is angry about a very determined Dupri would be an understatement. Since their first encounter back in August for the title, she hasn’t had a lot of good things to say about her opponent. She has belittled her, insulted her, and disrespected the Alpha Academy. Many wrestlers would’ve backed away and gone elsewhere. But Dupri is not one of those wrestlers. Every time Lynch knocks her down, either with her words or her actions, she has gotten back up.
Instead of whining, she has countered Lynch with more aggression and passion. It’s clear that she wants to face her until the Women’s Intercontinental Championship is in her arms. It doesn’t matter if it takes many matches for her to win the title. She’s going to fight her until she can’t fight anymore.
Lynch knows that, which is why she is disrespecting her so much. A fiery promo on the November 3 episode of Raw showed everyone that she was sick of Dupri getting up in her business. She wants another fight because she views her as pathetic and an unworthy challenger. Dupri wants the Women’s Intercontinental title, while Lynch intends to beat her for good.
Adam Pearce had good news for Dupri in the form of a championship match next week. That good news turned into bad news, as Lynch was right there to fire the warning shot. She punched her, sending her down to the ground, and started to yell at her.
Dupri gave her a glare as Lynch walked away with her title on her shoulder. If Dupri wins next week, it would be an amazing and inspirational comeback story. Lynch will do everything in her power not to let that happen, though. Next week’s Women’s Intercontinental Championship match will finally settle this long-standing rivalry in a big way.
