Mercedes Mone appears on CMLL Informa, sends message to Stephanie Vaquer

Mercedes Mone popped up on CMLL Informa this week to send a message to her Forbidden Door opponent Stephanie Vaquer. A title vs. title match between TBS Champion Mone and NJPW Strong Women’s Champion Vaquer is set to go down at Forbidden Door on June 30. Before that, Vaquer has a title defense against La Catalina for CMLL this Friday. It’s part of the card for CMLL/NJPW Fantastica Mania Mexico 2024. In a promo that aired on CMLL’s Informa talk show, Mone appeared to tease that she’ll be in attendance at Arena Mexico to watch the title match. “I’ll be watching that match closer than you think,” she told Vaquer. “Hola, Stephanie. I just wanted to wish you good luck in your New Japan Strong title match against La Catalina. Way to be a fighting champion. And, you know, I’ll be watching that match closer than you think.
