Though he has some limitations from the decades of punishment he took in the ring, Mick Foley is feeling pretty good physically. Foley was in the United Kingdom last weekend to attend the For the Love of Wrestling convention. While there, the 59-year-old Hardcore Legend reflected on the infamous chair shots he took in his match against The Rock at Royal Rumble 1999. Foley said the cumulative effect of shots like that have made it so he has to be careful of head injuries in his daily life, but he’s feeling pretty good all things considered. “That was a bad night and I could have been seriously hurt, so I certainly hope no one tries anything remotely like that,” Foley said. “I was hurting. I mean, cumulatively you just can’t take a lot of shots like that. So I have to be really careful in my everyday life. I [can’t] get jolted, I can’t ride rollercoasters anymore, I have an aversion to bright lights. But all things considered, I think I’m doing pretty well.” In 2024, Foley revealed that he was planning to come
