Mike Santana is gone from AEW.

Santana was removed from the AEW roster this afternoon, confirming his exit from the company. Santana debuted on the first episode of AEW Dynamite alongside tag team partner Ortiz. However, both men had a falling out and the team split up on screen.

Sanatana was out for over a year after getting injured in the Blood and Guts match on 6/29/22 and he returned to action at the Stadium Stampede match at ALL IN: London. Since then, he hasn't done much with AEW. He wrestled on an episode of Rampage in September and he was featured in some vignettes but there were rumblings about his unhappiness with how he was presented.

Konnan stated on his podcast that Santana felt that he should have been higher up on the card. Now that he's out of AEW, Santana becomes a free agent. No word yet on if there's interest from TNA or WWE but one has to think that he will pop up somewhere soon.
