MJF discussed the injury he suffered at AEW Full Gear 2023 during a recent interview. He tore his labrum and popped his hip out of its socket during his match against Jay White on the pay-per-view. Despite his injuries, MJF wrestled a month later at Worlds End when he dropped the AEW World title to Samoa Joe. He discussed the injuries during a recent appearance on The Wrestling Classic. “In the Jay White match – I beat him on one leg by the way no big deal – I hit an elbow drop from the top rope to the floor because I was trying to impress people that I thought cared about me, later on I found out they didn’t.
