Seth Rollins’ former student and current WWE SmackDown Superstar Nathan Frazier has nothing but praise for his former coach. It’s a good time for Rollins to get praised, seeing that he has had a string of bad luck lately. He is currently dealing with an injured shoulder and had to relinquish the WWE World Heavyweight Title this past week.
While as a guest on the No-Contest Wrestling podcast, Frazer spoke to actor O’Shea Jackson Jr. and The Rich Eisen Show's TJ Jefferson about how cool it was to be trained by Rollins and get to still be close to him. The 27-year-old feels that Rollins really does care about the next generation of wrestlers. He said:
“Just to say that Seth Rollins trained me is very cool in and of itself, but to have an active rapport with him. I can send him any match that I have and he’ll always get back to me with some really awesome, detailed critique. He really cares about the next generation of wrestlers and leaving his stamp on the industry. (h/t: WrestleTalk)
Frazer has been with WWE since the days of NXT UK. When he first started on the UK developmental brand in January 2021, for a few episodes, he went by the ring name Ben Carter. So he’s been with the company for a few years – NXT UK, NXT, and SmackDown. With WWE’s partnership with TNA, he’s also worked there.
Later in the interview, Frazer shared how he feels that Rollins won’t just be known only for his WWE Titles and WrestleMania moments, but the way he takes his time to teach newbies about the business. He added:
"His legacy isn’t necessarily only going to be what he does, it’s going to be kinda the knowledge that he passes down on future generations and what that generation does with that information. So, I’m like da–n proud to be part of Seth Rollins’ legacy in that sense."
Frazer is now probably best known as one-half of the tag team with Axiom. They go under the name Fraxiom and are two-time NXT Tag Team Champions. They are currently on WWE SmackDown. As of this writing, Frazer has yet to be in the ring with his former teacher.
