New champions were crowned at the end of "WWE SmackDown" on Friday.

WWE took a trip to Barcelona as part of a European tour. "Friday Night SmackDown" emanated from Olimpic Arena. The show featured Randy Orton's first match since Oct. 25, 2024. Fans also got to see Charlotte Flair in action, as well as an appearance from "The Wiseman" Paul Heyman.

In the main event, The Street Profits challenged DIY for the WWE Tag Team Championship. Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins hadn't won tag team gold in five years. The pair promised to turn their misfortune around on Friday, and they delivered.

The Street Profits are now two-time WWE Tag Team Champions after defeating Johnny Gargano and Tommaso Ciampa of DIY. The finish saw Gargano accidentally kick Ciampa while the team was looking for Meet in the Middle. Ford capitalized by hitting Gargano with the frog splash to score the victory for his team.

On the March 2, 2020 episode of "Monday Night Raw," The Street Profits captured the WWE Tag Team Championship for the first time. This was just before the pandemic era. While the team held those titles for 224 days, they never defended the gold in front of a live crowd.

Following the title change, many are left to wonder what the WWE Tag Team Championship match will be at "WrestleMania 41." Pretty Deadly is due a title shot, but many other teams have gotten involved in brawls on the road to "The Grandest Stage of Them All." It's led some to believe that there will be a multi-team match for the gold in Las Vegas.
