NJPW Best of the Super Juniors 32 night three results, updated standings

The Best of the Super Juniors continued on Wednesday with 10 tournament matches at Korakuen Hall in Tokyo. Two huge upsets closed out the show. In the main event, Kosei Fujita defeated four-time BOSJ winner Hiromu Takahashi. He used his new finisher, the Thrill Ride (a reverse Attitude Adjustment–like move), to pick up the win. After the match, Fujita said he’s learned a lot from Takahashi and also promised to win the whole tournament. AEW’s Nick Wayne pulled off a big upset when he defeated IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and defending BOSJ winner El Desperado in the semi-main event. The story of the match was Desperado targeting Wayne’s knee, which left Wayne unable to perform several moves near the finish. Wayne also fought out of a Numero Dos despite the injury. The finish saw Wayne go for a Killswitch, but Desperado countered and sent him into the turnbuckle.
