The IWGP Global Championship reign of Nic Nemeth came to an abrupt end earlier this morning at NJPW Dontaku night two.

Bullet Club War Dogs leader David Finlay recaptured the IWGP Global Championship by defeating Nic Nemeth earlier this morning. Nemeth had successfully defended the title against Hiroshi Tanahashi the night before.

Nemeth’s reign as IWGP Global Champion only lasted 71 days.

Here are the complete results of NJPW Dontaku night two:

  • Francesco Akira and Great-O-Khan of United Empire defeated Douki and Yuyu Uemura of Just 5 Guys
  • Zack Sabre Jr. and Kosei Fujita of TMDK defeated NJPW TV Champion Jeff Cobband and Callum Newman of United Empire
  • Guerrillas Of Destiny, El Desperado, and Shota Umino defeated House Of Torture
  • Hiroshi Tanahashi and Oleg Boltin defeated Taka Michinoku and Taichi of Just 5 Guys
  • Hiromu Takahashi, Tetsuya Naito, Bushi, and Yota Tsuji of Los Ingobernables de Japon defeated Clark Connors, Taiji Ishimori, Drilla Moloney, and Gedo of Bullet Club War Dogs
  • KENTA and Chase Owens of Bullet Club defeated Hirooki Goto and Yoshi-Hashi of Bishamon to capture the IWGP Tag Team Titles
  • Shingo Takagi defeated Gabe Kidd to retain the NEVER Openweight Title
  • David Finlay defeated Nic Nemeth to win the IWGP Global Heavyweight Title
  • Jon Moxley defeated Ren Narita to retain the IWGP World Heavyweight Title
