NXT Halloween Havoc 2025: Full Results, Highlights, and Must-See Moments

On Saturday, WWE produced its sixth annual Halloween Havoc premium live event, held at the Findlay Toyota Center in Arizona. The fans were quite appreciative of the in-sync Halloween aesthetics of the show, with skeletons, spiderwebs, and other props making the entrance area look creepy.

One of the most anticipated matches on the show was the second-to-last, where The Broken Hardys (Broken Matt Hardy and Brother Nero, aka Jeff Hardy) put their NXT tag team titles up for grabs. ‘The Charismatic Enigma’ paid tribute to the late great Bray Wyatt by sporting The Fiend‘s face paint.

The legendary tag team duo fought Dion Lennox and Osiris Griffin of the DarkState. There were several high-risk spots during the title bout, which was contested under Broken Rules.

Some of them included Jeff Hardy and Matt Hardy executing a Swanton Bomb and a leg drop off the steel post and a ladder, respectively. At ringside, Lennox launched himself into Broken Matt in the timekeeper’s area, followed by his brother getting speared through the barricade courtesy of Griffin.

During the closing moments, Brother Nero climbed to the top of the ladder, looking to hit a Swanton Bomb on Lennox through the table. But the latter got out of harm’s way just in the nick of time.

Nero was eventually made to go through a Doomsday Device through a table as orchestrated by the double team of Lennox and Griffin to regain the NXT tag team gold. It ended the 17-day reign of the Hardy Boyz with those straps. However, they still hold the TNA counterparts. The main event of the show was Ricky Saints defending his NXT Championship against Trick Williams.

The former AEW star had won it from Oba Femi at last month’s No Mercy PLE. It was Saints’ second singles title on NXT, having previously held the brand’s North American title as well. Circling back to Saints vs. Williams, it went down to the wire. ‘The Anointed One’ slammed ‘The Absolute One’ through the commentary desk at ringside and followed it up with a Trick Shot in the ring.

Saints barely powered out and kept his hopes alive of retaining the gold. The ex-AEW FTW Champion stunned Williams in the closing moments to get the 31-year-old on spaghetti legs. Saints hit a spear and a Tornado DDT assisted by the top rope to put his foe away. It was Saints’ first title defense, and he would look to extend his reign as long as he possibly could.

What else was on the card at NXT Halloween Havoc?

Apart from The Hardyz dropping their NXT tag team title belts and Ricky Saints keeping Trick Williams at bay to close out Halloween Havoc, there were some other entertaining affairs on the show as well. The night’s opener saw TNA’s Leon Slater and Je’Von Evans oust the AAA duo of Mr. Iguana and La Parka .

Moreover, Ethan Page and El Hijo de Dr. Wagner Jr. duked it out in a Day of the Dead match for the NXT North American title. Wagner Jr. had his mask ripped from the upper half by Page. It ticked off the Mexican wrestler, and he made the Canuck pay for his underhanded deeds. Page still ended up retaining his title by throwing some powder into Wagner Jr.’s eyes when the latter was perched on the top rope.

Page planted his opponent through the table by hitting a Twisted Grin on a blinded Wagner. On the women’s side of things, Blake Monroe defeated Zaria to become the new NXT Women’s North American Champion, and Tatum Paxley dispatched Jacy Jayne to capture the NXT Women’s title. Paxley’s former teammate and current Raw star Lyra Valkyria also reacted to Paxley’s watershed moment by posting a black heart emoji on X.
