NXT Women’s Title Match, Wes Lee In Action, More Set For 5/7 WWE NXT

Chelsea Green will challenge for the gold on the May 7 episode of WWE NXT.

As announced on the April 30 episode of WWE NXT, Chelsea Green will return to the NXT ring and challenge Roxanne Perez for the NXT Women’s Championship. Green previously appeared at the end of the April 30 episode when Ava announced the news.

Plus, Wes Lee will make his in-ring return when he faces Josh Briggs. Lee returned from injury on April 30 and confronted NXT North American Champion Oba Femi. He had a confrontation with Briggs later in the show.

Additionally, NXT Champion Trick Williams will appear on Supernova Sessions after Lash Legend confronted him with a mysterious envelope. Finally, the women’s roster will participate in a combine to determine the participants in qualifying matches for the NXT Women’s North American Championship match at NXT Battleground.
