Working another WrestleMania singles match is among the goals that Otis has for his WWE career. While being interviewed on Insight with Chris Van Vliet, the 32-year-old Otis outlined the goals he has in pro wrestling, also listing a title run and a “big match” against his mentor-turned-rival Chad Gable as things he wants to accomplish. “Definitely that singles match at WrestleMania,” Otis said. “I mean, everyone talks about the title. For me it’s basically — probably a big match with Gable hopefully would be cool.” Otis did get to have a WrestleMania moment when he defeated Dolph Ziggler in a singles match and kissed Mandy Rose at WrestleMania 36 in 2020, but the show did not take place in front of fans due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Otis called that experience “bittersweet” since the moment did not get to happen in front of a crowd.
