A former "WWE NXT" titleholder is officially a member of the "Friday Night SmackDown" brand.

WWE is on the road to "Money in the Bank 2025," which means that qualifying matches took place on the blue brand. The first participant in one of the ladder matches is Alexa Bliss after the former multi-time world champion defeated Michin and Chelsea Green to earn her spot.

As Bliss was having a conversation with Charlotte Flair, Giulia walked out of "SmackDown" general manager Nick Aldis' office. The authority figure then revealed to both Bliss and Flair that Giulia is now a main roster star on Friday nights.

Giulia only began performing on "NXT" in 2024, but her quick call-up to the main roster comes as little surprise to fans. Giulia garnered substantial experience in Japan when she worked for Stardom, Marigold, and Ice Ribbon.

At "New Year's Evil 2025," Giulia defeated Roxanne Perez to become the "NXT" Women's Champion. Following two successful title defenses, Giulia lost the gold to Stephanie Vaquer in their championship clash at "WWE Roadblock 2025."

Giulia eventually turned heel, ambushing Vaquer weeks following their title match. The Japanese star made appearances on "WWE Raw" and was even given a main event spot, teaming with Perez to take on Iyo Sky and Rhea Ripley in a losing effort.

Now that fans of WWE's main weekly shows are familiar with Giulia, the company feels it's time for the former World of Stardom Champion to showcase her skills in front of a wider audience.
