Popular WWE Superstar Suffers Serious Injury During 'Raw' Match

During her match with Sane, Morgan went down on the mat off a routine takedown. One half of the WWE Women's Tag Team Champion landed awkwardly on her arm and immediately rolled out of the ring in pain.

Doctors checked on Morgan outside of the ring as "Raw" went to a commercial break. Back from the break, Sane was declared the winner, as Morgan could not continue. Footage aired of Morgan being helped up the ramp by WWE's medical team.

Later on, play-by-play commentator Michael Cole announced that the initial diagnosis for Morgan was a dislocated shoulder.

As of now, there's no timeframe for Morgan's recovery. One would think this casts doubt on WWE's plans to have Morgan face Nikki Bella in some capacity at "Evolution." 

It would also appear that WWE will have to hold off on any potential plans that were in place for a rivalry between Morgan and Sky.

Morgan is one of WWE's top stars. She plays a key role on the "Monday Night Raw" brand, often appearing in multiple segments each week.
