Road To WWE WrestleMania for Dom Mysterio

Dominik Mysterio gave WWE fans one of its best moments of 2025 when he won the IC title at WrestleMania Vegas. Fans really need something to cheer about in 2026. Everything has been a little predictable and lacking any fire.

With that in mind, don’t expect Penta to win the championship. It’s the sixth time Penta has challenged “Dirty” Dom since he won the title last April.

Instead, Finn Bálor will probably turn his attention to Mysterio’s gold when he predictably loses to CM Punk at WWE Elimination Chamber.

Bálor vs. Mysterio for the WWE Intercontinental Championship at WWE WrestleMania 42 would be a good match so expect to see things head in the direction of that this week.
