A new match has been made official for WrestleMania. Randy Orton and Kevin Owens will meet in Las Vegas next month following weeks of confrontation, including on Friday’s SmackDown. Orton issued the challenge to Owens following a back-and-forth promo, with the match becoming official later in the show. Orton kicked off SmackDown but was interrupted by Kevin Owens, who blamed Cody Rhodes for his actions against Orton. He claimed that he saved Carmelo Hayes from being punted last week because he didn’t want Orton to go back to being the Legend Killer. Owens instead suggested he and Orton team together and challenge for the WWE Tag Team titles at WrestleMania 41. Orton rejected the offer, instead challenging Owens to a match next month at Allegiant Stadium. He promised to kick Owens’ head “off his freakin’ shoulders” in Vegas.
