Recently released WWE superstar Andrade El Idolo made his return to All Elite Wrestling on Wednesday's Dynamite. Andrade returns to AEW after just departing from WWE three weeks ago.
Andrade appeared after the opening contest on AEW Dynamite's 6th Anniversary edition. Kenny Omega, Bandido, and Brody King defeated The Young Bucks and Josh Alexander. As Omega, who made his own return, was thanking fans for their support, the lights went out, and a masked wrestler stood behind him.
Andrade attacked Omega, hit him with The Message, and surprisingly shook the hand of Don Callis, aligning himself with The Don Callis Family.

Andrade has officially joined The Don Callis Family, along with new AEW wrestler El Clon.
AEW posted an exclusive video on their social media, which shows Andrade aligned with the Don Callis Family. In the video, Callis exclaims:
Just when you thought we were down and out, we added not one, but two new members. We got El Clon and we have got the great Andrade. Look at the talent! Look at the genetics! Look at the good looks! And look at the belt, baby!
EXCLUSIVE: With @AndradeElIdolo’s surprise return and Clon’s debut, @TheDonCallis Family grows stronger than ever.

WWE never officially announced Andrade's departure, nor disclosed the reason for his leaving, but it has been reported that he was fired from the company due to disciplinary reasons. Andrade had at least one wellness policy violation on his most recent run with the company. WWE quietly moved him to their alumni section last month.
Andrade posted a 'Thank You' message on social media after the news broke, with the likes of CM Punk and Dominik Mysterio showing support. The former United States Champion now looks to write a new chapter in his second run with AEW.
