RevPro Announces Summer Sizzler Card With MJF

London-based Revolution Pro has just announced the full match card for its Summer Sizzler show. It is safe to say it’s more than a sizzler.

If a sizzling sausage was one you could comfortably eat, this RevPro card is the baking-hot banger you grab straight from the BBQ and can’t chew because it’s so hot.

Let’s take a look at the hottest UK indy show this year which is set to feature AEW, TNA, former WWE, and unsigned talent.

RevPro Summer Sizzler Match Card (8/11/24)

  • AEW American Championship Match: MJF vs. Michael Oku
  • Singles Match: Trevor Lee vs. Luke Jacobs
  • Singles Match: Donovan Dijak vs. Robbie X
  • RevPro Undisputed Women’s Championship Match: Dani Luna vs. Nina Samuels
  • Singles Match: Ricky Knight jr vs. Zozaya
  • 12th Anniversary Cruiserweight Scramble Qualifier Match: Leon Slater vs. Jack Cartwheel
  • Tag Team Championship #1 Contenders Match: Golden Boy Santos & David Francisco vs. Sunshine Machine vs. Greedy Souls vs. Young Blood
  • Singles Match: Gideon Gray vs. Dan McGee

MJF Puts ‘American Championship’ On The Line In The UK

Almost a year ago, Will Ospreay had his final indy match with Michael Oku in RevPro. The internet went crazy for it.

Oku earned Ospreay’s respect and the torch was passed to the next top UK talent. AEW American Champion MJF says Oku earned his undying hatred off the back of Ospreay’s positive feelings towards him so much so that MJF will put his beloved title on the line against Oku.

MJF will also be fighting to prove that the USA is better than the UK. MJF and Ospreay meet for the championship at AEW’s All In in Wembley.

Former WWE Stars Also On The Card

Dijak was called up from NXT to Raw in the post-WrestleMania Draft. After just one appearance on Main Event and on WWE Speed, he left WWE.

He is redefining himself on the independent scene back as Donovan Dijak. He takes on ITV’s World of Sport Wrestling star Robbie X.

Cameron Grimes was drafted from NXT to WWE Smackdown in 2023. Like Dijak, he was barely used before being released post-WrestleMania.

Newly rebranded as Trevor Lee, he also comes to RevPro searching for redemption. Lee faces the PROGRESS World Champion and Rev Pro Undisputed British Heavyweight Champion No.1 Contender Luke Jacobs.

NXT UK Returns

In 2019, Dani Luna lost to Nina Samuels in the early days of NXT UK. Both women went on to put on impressive displays in NXT UK before it was canceled in 2022.

Luna has since gone on to be signed to TNA where she is a former TNA Knockouts World Tag Team Champion. Luna is also the current Rev Pro Undisputed British Women’s Champion.

Samuels will get the chance to prove she’s still on Luna’s level.

Rest of the Card

RevPro Summer Sizzler will also set up RevPro’s 12-year anniversary show on AEW’s All In weekend. A four-team tag match will crown the No.1 Contender for the tag titles.

Whilst Leon Slater and Jack Cartwheel look to qualify for the Cruiserweight Scramble on that show. Jacobs challenges Oku for the RevPro British Heavyweight Championship.
