Ring Announcer Samantha Irvin Announces Departure From WWE

The WWE lost one of the critical pieces in their presentation of matches when ring announcer Samantha Irvin announced that she was no longer working for the company. Earlier today, in a heartfelt social media post, Irvin thanked the fans, WWE staff, and those who impacted her career up to this point.

 The 35-year-old Irvin from Dennis, MA, has been with the company since 2021. She is currently engaged to 36-year-old wrestling superstar Ricochet (Trevor Dean Mann), who recently signed a deal with All Elite Wrestling (AEW), which has been a slight competitor to the WWE. With Ricochet being in another wrestling company with a completely different schedule, the chances are high that it affected their relationship, which led to the run with WWE coming to a close earlier today.

Irvin had become a widely popular talent amongst WWE fans, and her passion for the business and her job could be felt in her voice every time she announced a match. In April, Irvin was so invested in the Cody Rhodes vs. Roman Reigns match that when Rhodes won, she couldn’t help her voice from cracking as the emotions poured out of her. It was a moment that will go down as a huge moment in WrestleMania history.
