Rossy Ogawa Says WWE Has Been Good To Him, Wants To Invite WWE Stars To Marigold

Rossy Ogawa talks his standing with WWE and his new promotion, Marigold.

As announced on April 15, STARDOM founder Rossy Ogawa has founded the Marigold promotion. Giulia, Sareee, and other stars are set to be involved with the company’s first show. With Giulia reportedly WWE-bound, some fans have wondered about a potential relationship with Marigold.

In an interview with Tokyo Sports, Rossy Ogawa commented on where he stands with WWE. He noted that he’d like to invite some WWE stars over. (H/t Jeremy Lambert of Fightful for the translation)

“(WWE) has been very good to me,” Ogawa said. “I think they’re buying into what I’ve been doing to raise Iyo, Kairi, and Giulia. Relationship with WWE? I think there will be some kind of announcement from the other side in the future. I’d like to invite players from the other side (WWE)…I’d like to be able to do something like that.”

Ogawa also noted that Marigold could potentially become a feeder system for WWE by saying, “Maybe it will become a (WWE) ranch…”

For now, fans will have to wait and see how Marigold grows in its early stages.
